About Us

We are a photography studio located 1 block east of the Square in Divernon, IL. We are a small business of three employees.

MEET BONITA, She is the owner: My name is Bonita Ralston. I have two children, Julie Patterson and Michael Ralston, three granddaughters, 2 gorgeous great-granddaughters and a great-grandson. My daughter, Julie and one of my granddaughters, Jennifer works in the studio with me. My son, Michael does some of the restoration work. I began my photography business working out of my home in 1986, doing mostly weddings. As my business began to grow, I rented a building on the Divernon square, where I did just the actual photography and I still did everything else from my home. When my daughter, Julie, began working with me we rented more space for the camera room and moved all the other "stuff" to the studio so everything was now in one location. We have just purchased another building. We have more room and we are all very excited since we moved into it, and we can't wait for you to come see it too!

MEET JULIE , she is our manager Photographer: Hi, I'm Julie and I spent a few years refusing to work with my mom, but when I found myself between jobs I stepped in, just to help out. I have always had a creative mind and building skills from working on my dad's rental property. So, now I build props, create scenes, I think of new poses, and I'm loving it! I have 3 daughters and they are now 30, 28, and 27. I relate to, and enjoy, young adults, or so my kids say. I was also blessed with my first granddaughter 7 years ago this April 24th and my first grandson 5 years ago this April 15th. I also, have a second granddaughter turned 3 December 12th and we are expecting my third granddaughter in June. I have taken on a lot of the responsibilities of running the Studio. I do consultations, create the shots, project your previews at pickup, take your order, and usually hand you your finished portraits.

MEET ME, I am a lot of things: Hi, I am Jennifer. I do a lot of things around here. The things I do most are on the computer: I built this entire website, I do financial stuff around the studio, I do artwork on pictures, I get orders ready, and send them to the lab. There are a few other things, but that is all the major things. If you call, I might answer. I love to do computer work, so that is mostly what I was hired to do. I am the Daughter of the manager, Julie and the Granddaughter of the owner, Bonita. I have lived in Divernon most of my life. Also, I am the mother of 2 beautiful children (7 year old Kenya and 3 year old Moya), and you can see a lot of them if you go look in the children's gallery.
